Should the entry to Porch be centered on the House door? | |
I have a 67" entry door (including side lights). The porch deck extends 172" to the left of the door and 216 " to the right of the door. I would like posts going to the ceiling. Should porch entry be centered on the entry door or should it be centered on the porch deck? Or more than one entry to the porch? How many posts? Should some of them be 1/2 posts? the deck is seven feet deep.

no t neccessary. it all depends on approach to yr dr, front sidewalk? driveway entrance to dr? or is this new construction? your opts are open.
