how do I install porch railing and dows without spliting them ?

Answers:

1A brad nailer works great for that!!! I know the initial investment can be expensive, but if you plan to do alot of work around the house, it will eventually pay off or maybe you know someone that you could borrow one from.

From: johnjamison

i predrilled all nailed locations, to avoid any splitting even at the very ends of all connections.
