I have a sunroom that leaks and has termite damage. I am considering tearing down the sunroom and converting it back into a patio. Any suggestions on how I can correct the problem or how to tackle this project. My backyard is in a slope towards the house.

First of all, if your sunroom has termite damage have you taken care of the termites? Second a covered porch is much more appealling to buyers, can you just replace the damaged parts? Third and most important....
The slope is your problem-I had the same issue. What you need to do is eliminate the water from running toward the house/porch. I dug a trench, installed a preforated drain pipe, covered it with gravel then dirt and this directed the water away from the house for not much money.
If you don't do this, the sunroom damage will be the least of your worries.. the water can get into your house, rot your foundation/floor joists and cause major damage-believe me you do not want to deal with THAT!
Good luck!
